Have you thought much about how this world will end? Did you know that we have all the information that we need to know about that? It is described in the Bible. It’s always been there! Let me give you a simple outline.

• BEFORE JESUS WENT BACK TO HEAVEN AFTER HIS RESURRECTION, He told His disciples He would be returning to earth and that they should be looking for Him. This period of history we are in right now is called the Church Age. It is a time when Jesus’ true believers are to be telling others about what Jesus did for them on the cross and His resurrection and expectantly waiting His return.
• WHAT DID JESUS DO FOR US? God the Father sent Jesus, His Son, to earth to shed His blood and die on the cross for our sin penalties when we humble ourselves before Him by confessing and repenting of our sins and putting our trust in Him by FAITH. Also, we need to believe in His resurrection that conquered eternal death for us. Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Me.” So, if you have not humbled yourself and put your faith in Jesus, the following information is what you will experience. It is VERY scary.
• THE RAPTURE OF THE TRUE CHURCH – This is when Jesus returns in the clouds to take all His true believers home to Heaven: first, those who have died will be caught up to Jesus in the air and then those who are true believers on earth will be caught up to Jesus. They will all be taken to Heaven with Jesus. This will be a time of confusion on earth because millions of people will totally disappear, leaving their earthly clothes behind right where they were sitting or standing. Cars will crash, airplanes will crash and even ships and trains will crash because believers in Jesus will be driving or flying them. People will try to explain this away.
• UNBELIEVERS LEFT BEHIND on earth will experience 7 years of tribulation. The purpose of the 7 years is to shake man from his false sense of security to seek God.
• THE ANTICHRIST – There will be a man on earth who will rise to power called the antichrist who will promise peace on earth. He will be a great negotiator. He will make a covenant with Israel for 7 years. People who are left on earth will end up worshipping him except for those who put their faith in Jesus during this time.

THE 7 SEAL JUDGMENTS – The Bible talks about 7 Seal Judgments on the earth by God. He will both allow and cause difficult things to happen.

1. THE WHITE HORSE JUDGMENT – There will be conquering power by diplomacy. The antichrist will usher in a false peace and promise to solve all the world’s problems. He will seemingly be victorious.
2. THE RED HORSE JUDGMENT – War and bloodshed. The nations will revolt his domination and cause bloody war.
3. THE BLACK HORSE JUDGMENT – Great famine will come upon the earth after the great war. Inflation will be high and food scarce for the common person.
4. THE PALE HORSE JUDGMENT – There will be pestilence and death upon the earth. One fourth of the world’s population will die as a result of the first 21 months of the tribulation.
5. SOULS UNDER THE ALTAR JUDGMENT – Many of those who have become believers in Jesus during this time, will be martyred. They are called the Tribulation Saints. They will be martyred because of the Word of God and their testimony about It and Jesus.
6. THE WHOLE WORLD TREMBLES JUDGMENT – There will be physical changes to the earth. The earth will be violently shaken because of the many believers who were martyred. This is the day of God’s wrath. There will be an interval of time when 144,000 Jewish believers in Jesus will witness to unbelievers on the earth. More people will believe in Jesus during the months of the tribulation than in the 2,000+ years of the Church Age.
7. THE SILENCE—GOLDEN CENSER JUDGMENT – A time when God will cease judgment for a time. A calm before the storm. Then there will be 7 more judgments called the 7 TRUMPET JUDGMENTS

THE 7 TRUMPET JUDGMENTS

1. HAIL AND FIRE MIXED WITH BLOOD JUDGMENT ON THE EARTH – One third of all vegetation burns up.
2. A MOUNTAIN WILL BE THROWN INTO THE SEA JUDGMENT – Probably a meteorite, killing one third of the remaining living creatures and destroying one third of the ships. The meteor will turn the sea into blood.
3. THE STAR WORMWOOD JUDGMENT – Another meteor will fall and will bury itself so deep that it pollutes the water supply of the 3 great rivers in the Middle East that come together. Those dependent on them will die.
4. ONE THIRD OF THE SUN, MOON AND STARS WILL BE STRUCK JUDGMENT – God diminishes the light by one third. Day and night will be reversed. Tremendous forces will be unleashed upon the earth at this time.
5. THE PLAGUE OF LOCUST JUDGMENT—THE FIRST WOE – Out of a bottomless pit will come smoke like smog, only worse and also locusts like scorpion creatures. Their purpose is to persecute unbelieving mankind. They will not harm vegetation and their sting will last 5 months—unimaginable suffering, but people will not be able to die.
6. RELEASE OF THE FOUR ANGELS UPON THE EARTH JUDGMENT – God releases 4 bound angels to slay one third of remaining mankind. Only the unrepentant will be killed that have the Mark of the Beast on their forehead or hand. Believers in Jesus are exempt. Then there will be 2 men who are witnesses in Jerusalem who are thought to be Ezekiel and Moses, returned to the earth for a time. They are to counteract the lying wonders of the antichrist. After a time, the antichrist will kill them when their witnessing is completed. Their bodies will lie in the street for 3 ½ days. Then God will resurrect them and they will ascend into Heaven. Great fear will fall upon the earth.
7. WOE ON EARTH / WORSHIP IN HEAVEN JUDGMENT – God will extend His wrath even more and the last 7 judgments begin. Those in Heaven will worship Jesus as Almighty God, as He is. There are 7 more judgments called the 7 Bowl Judgments. Seven angels will each be given a bowl to be poured out on the earth.

THE 7 BOWL JUDGMENTS – REFERRED TO AS THE GREAT TRIBULATION (Matthew24:21)

1. THE UGLY AND PAINFUL SORES JUDGMENT – Probably boils judgment. This is for those who worship antichrist, not for believers.
2. THE SEA TURNS TO BLOOD JUDGMENT – Everything in the sea will die and float to the top.
3. RIVERS AND STREAMS OF WATER BECOME BLOOD JUDGMENT. – The rest of the water will become blood as a result of the suffering martyrs.
4. THE SUN SCORCHES PEOPLE WITH FIRE JUDGMENT—The rest of the sun shining will be excruciatingly hot with no water to quench.
5. THE DARKNESS JUDGMENT – There is no day, no sun or moon.
6. THE EUPHRATES RIVER DRIES UP JUDGMENT – This is in preparation for the Battle of Armageddon in the Valley of Megiddo.
7. THE TREMENDOUS EARTHQUAKE AND BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON JUDGMENT – All the kings of countries and their armies who worship antichrist will assemble in the Valley of Megiddo and beyond to fight against Christ. The cities of the world will be wiped out. All the islands will vanish and the mountains will be gone. Also, great hailstones (about 135 lbs. each) will come down from Heaven upon men who worship the antichrist.

• THE END OF FALSE RELIGION WILL OCCUR.
• THE WORLD MARKET WILL COLLAPSE.
• THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST! — Jesus returns to the earth with His Church—true believers in Him.
• THE MILLENIUM — Jesus will reign on the earth with all His saints (believers) for 1,000 years. It will be a period of peace and righteousness. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb will occur. The Lamb is Jesus and the Bride is His Church (believers).
• THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT – Satan, demons / fallen angels and all unrepentant sinners are eternally separated from God in the Lake of Fire—Hell.
• THE NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH WILL BE CREATED BY GOD FOR THE SAINTS TO DWELL FOR ALL OF ETERNITY WITH GOD

There is so much more information about what I have shared. If you are interested, you can read the Book of Revelation at the end of the Bible. I also encourage you to buy the book ESCAPE THE COMING NIGHT, by Dr. David Jeremiah. It is extremely good and helpful. It will shed more insight on the Book of Revelation, as well as other End Times prophecies in the Old Testament and New Testament of the Bible.

IF YOU HAVE NOT YET confessed and repented of your sins to God Himself (not to another human) and put your FAITH in what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross by shedding His blood and dying for your sin penalties and in Jesus’ resurrection that conquered eternal death for you, so you can spend Eternity in Heaven with Jesus, you will experience all the horrors of the 7 years of Tribulation and spend Eternity in Hell. You must also believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Humble yourself right now and pray to Jesus/God and humbly do the above to be forgiven and receive Eternal Life that will be spent with Jesus/God forever and ever. You will become a child of God, a Saint.

If you want to have a good start to your day, listen to a worshipful song. Focusing on Jesus will set your heart and mind on things above. Colossians 3:2 says “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Also Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Setting your mind on things above—Jesus, Who is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and Heaven and what it holds for us when we go there—will cause peace to live in your heart instead of turmoil that comes with thinking about the things of this world.

I know that we cannot avoid thinking about what we have to do the rest of the day, but take Jesus with you throughout your day. He is with you anyway, so why not acknowledge Him and talk to Him as you go about your daily activities. Doing so will keep peace alive in you. If something happens that gives you a fearful or angry spirit, take it to Jesus in prayer and ask Him to calm you and help you to leave your concerns in His hands. He knows you from the inside out because He created you. He wants to help you live your life. Ask Him to take you through it with Him by your side.

One of the Christian music artists that is timeless to me, as well as her music, is Sandi Patty. Her voice is so pure and beautiful. The last two days I have been listening to some of her CD’s and that is why I am writing this devotional. Her music makes me focus on Jesus. There are other artists that do that, too. In fact, because people are so different, I’m sure that certain artists’ music will speak to you more than they would me. This song is about when Jesus returns for His children, His church, His true believers. That day will be like no other for believers in Jesus. I know we will all be speechless and immediately worshipping Him because we will not be able to do anything else out of amazement and gratitude for what Jesus did for us on the cross. What a day that will be!!! (By the way, the dark-haired woman that they keep showing and that Sandi hugs at the end, is Dottie Rambo, the lady that wrote that song! I looked for more of Sandi’s songs also, such as “In His Presence”…there is peace, but only found it with someone else singing it.

I really hope you will watch both of these videos to the end. The audio is not CD quality, but still good enough to bring you into God’s presence and give you peace.

No matter whether you are a Protestant or Catholic Christian, if you have TRULY put your faith in what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross by shedding His blood and dying for the penalties of your sins and His resurrection to defeat death so you can receive eternal life in Heaven, you need to grow in your faith. You need to read and study the Bible and pray and become closer to Jesus. You need to serve Jesus. Jesus has a plan for your life. Don’t be a lethargic Christian. You’re missing out on too much. Be an obedient Christian.

He is risen indeed! As I was in church on Good Friday, our pastor was talking about Christ’s body pain being flogged leading up to His pain on the cross. He said it could have been you and me being flogged and suffering on that cross. Even though I knew that, it became very real thinking about how much I would be hurting on that cross. I’ve had a lot of physical pain over the years with different things, but nothing like Jesus endured for me and for you. I really can’t imagine how his body had to be hurting before they nailed his hands and feet to the cross. Also, the emotional pain from the hatred of the people who wanted Him crucified; I would think mostly from the Jewish people even though He was born Jewish. These are people He created and loved.

I am so grateful to Jesus for paying for my sin penalties on the cross and then rising again to conquer spiritual death, so I will not go to hell when I die a physical death, but instead go to Heaven to be with God. That’s the reason that God the Father sent God the Son to earth to be crucified and rise again…so that mankind could be forgiven of their sin penalties to become righteous in God’s eyes, so mankind can fellowship with their Creator in Heaven.

Now I enjoy a personal relationship with Jesus through reading the Bible and prayer. He speaks to me through His Holy Spirit by impressing upon me certain passages of Scripture to encourage me or tell me that I need to change something, so I become more like Him or that He wants me to serve Him in some way. He has also brought me through some difficult surgeries. I’m so grateful to Him for loving and taking care of me.

Do you know my Jesus? If not, you need to realize your sin and confess them to Jesus and by faith put your trust in Him for paying for your sin penalties and rising again, so you can receive eternal life in Heaven. Jesus says in the Bible that for those who have put their faith in Him, He has a plan for their lives. There is no better plan for you than God’s plan. I’m praying for you.

When Jesus was on earth, He preached the message of repentance. It is the first demand of the Gospel. When the Holy Spirit draws an individual to God, the person recognizes his sin and accepts Christ as Savior and the Holy Spirit causes the spiritual rebirth of the soul. That’s called Regeneration. If there is no repentance, there is no regeneration or salvation.

What does repentance mean? It means to turn from sin, to change your direction and seek a new way of life. Repentance causes a person to have a change of heart, resulting in a behavioral change. The person will now see sin and righteousness differently.

Salvation without repentance is NOT possible! It’s the first part of the saving work of the Holy Spirit in the sinner’s soul. In 2 Timothy 2:25, the Apostle Paul reassured Timothy that repentance leads to the understanding of spiritual knowledge/truth.

Repentance is even more crucial for people today because God’s Kingdom is closer than ever. As a believer, ask yourself what things you need to go before God about and agree with Him that they need to go. This is needed to restore fellowship with God and to be fruitful for Him. When you do this you will receive God’s mercy and experience freedom…a great relief!

Time for what? Time for your favorite team to win it all? Time to win Publisher’s Clearing House? Time to win the lottery? Time to be chosen man or woman of the year? As attractive as these may seem to some of you, they are all things of this world that have no eternal value.

As true believers in Jesus, what are we focusing on today? Are we missing the mark as to what Jesus said to His disciples when He was here on earth? As believers, we are also disciples of Jesus. Just because 2,000+ years have passed since Jesus death and resurrection and the words He instructed His disciples, doesn’t mean His words are no longer valid. In fact, they are even more desperately true today because Jesus’ rapture of His Church of believers is near. That time is near.

What is happening in the world today is prophesied in the Bible. Because of these things, Jesus could take His believers to Heaven any minute. We don’t know the day or hour, but we know that the end of time is near.

If you knew that Jesus was returning in the next week or even tomorrow, what would you change about your life? What would you stop doing and start doing? Well, why not make these changes now? Why not live out what you say you believe instead of only giving lip service to it.

There are some very good disciples of Jesus on this earth now. Billy Graham was one of the best! Not everyone will be a “Billy Graham,” but what about your friends and relatives? Don’t you care that they are going to spend eternity in hell? Do you love yourself more than you love them?

There is a lot of selfishness in this day and age. As believers in Jesus, we’re supposed to be different, but are we? Believe me, I’m preaching to myself, too. I want to be different. Do you?
