MY HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE FOR MY KNEE REPLACEMENT

Last August in 2025, I had my right knee replaced. It was quite an experience. Whenever doctors do surgery on me, they discover other things wrong with me, which they are now dealing with through medications. From the hospital, I went home and then went to a local physical therapy place that I have used before.

While at the hospital, God helped me to tell others about Jesus and what Jesus did for them on the cross. I spoke with one other patient who didn’t totally agree with the gospel or prophecy.

I spoke with a Muslim and explained sin and the need for Jesus to come down to earth to die/pay for our sins so if we put our faith in what Jesus did on the cross for us, we will be forgiven of our sins and receive eternal life. My Muslim friend didn’t agree. He said that Jesus was only a prophet.

To several other nurses and helpers, God opened up my mouth to explain Jesus and His gospel. Many of them were in agreement and hugged me. It was not my intent to say those things to people, but it was God’s intent that I do. I’m so glad He helped me to be bold in my faith.

Just so you know, it is never easy for me to share the gospel, because like many Christians, I am also fearful of people rejecting and turning away from me. I pray that Jesus will help me to become bolder, because when you love someone, you want them to be saved from their sins and spend eternity in Heaven along with you.

All true believers in Jesus need to be bold in their faith. If we’re not, how will people hear and put their faith in Jesus and be forgiven of their sins and receive eternal life in Heaven with God/Jesus?

Jesus said to confess and repent of our sins and then put our faith in what Jesus did on the cross and then to go into all the world and preach the gospel and He will be with us always! Thank You Jesus, for what you have done for me and others and what You continue to do. Thank You for your incredible love!!!

(By the way, as it happened, that knee replacement was not put in correctly, so I needed to have that one taken out and another one put in by another doctor. This new one seems to be correct and I’m back having physical therapy.  I’m still having pain and would appreciate your prayers for complete healing. It takes up to 6 months to a year to be completely healed.)

  1. Wow, Sharon! I am surprised to hear from you and more surprised to hear of your wonderful witnessing encounters. Sorry to hear about your knee. It’s so amazing how many people have had knee replacements and not all of them went well. Like you, they had to have it redone. Same with hip replacements. You know, I think it’s a miracle that we even know how to do this. Back in the day, none of this was possible. Now it’s fairly standard. My, how things do change.

Thanks for letting me know about all this. I’ve been blessed!

    Blessings! Sue
